Why the curve matters If you’re finishing glass, you know the struggle with “hot spots” and cold zones. A straight tube just doesn’t play nice with a curved piece of glass. We solve this by bending the quartz envelopes to match your specific glass profile. By getting the heat source closer to the target, you stop wasting energy and your ramp-up times get a lot faster. It just works better. And we don’t do “one size fits all.” We build these based on your actual voltage and wattage. If you’re running a high-voltage line, we make sure the modules can handle the load without popping the filaments. You just slide it into your machine’s footprint and you’re good to go. Our modules come pre-wired with industrial connectors. You plug it into the power rail, and it’s live. Simple. We also build the reflectors right into the module. This means the heat is focused exactly where it needs to be. No more spending your afternoon manually adjusting mirrors or shields just to get the temperature right. A few things to keep in mind Now, here’s the catch: these high-density modules pack a punch. They deliver a lot of heat, very quickly. Because of that, your control system has to keep up. You’ll want to double-check that your PID controllers and thermocouples are calibrated for that extra thermal flux. Also, take a look at your cooling fans. If they aren’t rated for the module’s total wattage, you might find your chassis getting a bit too hot for comfort.
