Why we went modular
We built our modules so you can swap a dead tube without tearing the whole housing apart. Most heaters on the market force you to rewire the internal circuitry every time a lamp pops. It’s tedious. Our design uses slide-in brackets and quick-disconnect terminals. The trade-off
Now, there is a catch. Modular designs need a bit more breathing room for the connectors and fasteners. This means the chassis is a few centimeters larger than a compact, hard-wired unit. But you’re trading a tiny bit of space for the ability to fix things in the field. To make sure those connections don’t melt when things get hot, we use high-temp ceramic insulators. Just a heads-up: make sure your wiring matches the wattage of the replacement tube. You don’t want to overload the circuit.
