These units pull more power to get that rapid heat, so you can’t just plug a high-output rail into a circuit meant for a tiny lightbulb. If your wiring is too thin, you’ll be tripping your breakers all morning. Also, be ready for a bit more bulk. Because these are built to be waterproof and durable, they’re heavier and take up a little more wall space than a slim lamp. It’s a fair trade-off for something that won’t break the first time the shower gets steamy.
