The ones with the big, hot bulbs? They’re kind of a waste. They spend most of their energy heating up the air and the fixture itself, and by the time that warmth actually reaches you, it&amp;rsquo;s barely there.&#xA;That&amp;rsquo;s why we&amp;rsquo;ve moved toward mirror infrared heaters. It&amp;rsquo;s a completely different feel. Instead of trying to warm up the whole room, these go straight for the source—you.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The secret is in the mirror.&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Normally, an infrared element just throws heat everywhere. Half of it ends up hitting the ceiling or getting trapped in the housing. Not very efficient.&#xA;We fixed that by putting a parabolic mirror right behind the quartz heating element. It basically acts like a flashlight for heat, focusing those rays into a tight, direct beam. You get a concentrated blast of warmth right where you need it, without having to crank the power and spike your electric bill.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Dealing with the &amp;ldquo;Bathroom Chaos&amp;rdquo;&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Let&amp;rsquo;s be real: bathrooms are brutal on electronics. Between the steam, the splashes, and the constant humidity, most wiring just gives up. Bulbs pop, connections corrode, and things break.&#xA;We don&amp;rsquo;t take chances with that. Our heaters use IPX4 ratings (or higher), which is just a fancy way of saying we&amp;rsquo;ve sealed everything tight. We use tempered glass and heavy-duty gaskets to keep the moisture out of the guts of the machine. If those seals aren&amp;rsquo;t perfect, the unit shorts out. Simple as that.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The trade-offs (because nothing is perfect)&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Here&amp;rsquo;s the catch: these heaters hit peak temperature incredibly fast. But because the heat is so directional, you&amp;rsquo;ll notice &amp;ldquo;hot spots&amp;rdquo; and &amp;ldquo;cold spots.&amp;rdquo;&#xA;If you aren&amp;rsquo;t standing right in the beam, you won&amp;rsquo;t feel much. It&amp;rsquo;s not like a space heater that fills the room; it&amp;rsquo;s more like a spotlight. That means you have to be smart about where you install it. You want that beam hitting exactly where you&amp;rsquo;ll be standing.&#xA;One last thing—keep them clean. These quartz tubes love a tidy environment. If soap scum or dust builds up on that mirror, the heat can&amp;rsquo;t bounce off it properly, and you&amp;rsquo;ll lose that &amp;ldquo;wow&amp;rdquo; factor. A quick wipe-down every now and then keeps it working like new.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
