If you do, you&amp;rsquo;ll deal with voltage drops, and your heat will be all over the place.&#xA;To fix this, we tweak the density of the tungsten filament. We make sure the power is balanced so the heat is just as strong at the very end of the tube as it is at the start. If we pushed too much power into the ends, they&amp;rsquo;d just burn out. Nobody wants to be replacing lamps in the middle of a production run.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Dealing with the physics of quartz&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;We use high-purity quartz because it can take the thermal shock of running 24/7 without cracking. But here&amp;rsquo;s the real challenge: gravity.&#xA;When a lamp is over 2 meters long and glowing hot, it wants to sag. It’s a heavy piece of glass. We use reinforced supports to keep everything straight and stable, so the tube doesn&amp;rsquo;t warp under its own weight.&#xA;And because we&amp;rsquo;ve engineered the housings to fit &lt;a href=&#34;https://o-yate.com&#34;&gt;perfectly&lt;/a&gt; together, your glass substrate gets a constant hit of IR radiation. No dips in temperature. No surprises.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;A few things to watch out for during install&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;These units put out a massive amount of heat. You can&amp;rsquo;t just slide them into an old rack and call it a day.&#xA;Check your cooling. If your ventilation is weak, heat will soak back into the lamp ends and kill your filaments way faster than they should die. We usually suggest heavy-duty wiring, too. You don&amp;rsquo;t want your terminals overheating while the kiln is humming along overnight.&#xA;Get the airflow right, and these things will just work.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
